Student Research Projects

POL/ECO 305 integrates political science, economic, and sociological methods to analyze American public policy with an emphasis on quantitative analysis of state-level policy. Students in POL/ECO 305 complete an in-depth, analytical policy brief, also known as a white paper. The papers analyze public policy problems facing state and local organizations and recommend a course of action to policy-makers in state or local government.
